New Features and Functions in AudioCD MP3 Studio 2000:
User Interface
-
Export Playlist: This brand new function enables you to export your playlists as ASCII, RTF or HTML files that you can edit and reuse with other applications
-
Integrated MP3 and Wave Player: The player function is now fully integrated, allowing you to play your MP3 and wave tracks directly from the main program screen. You can also adjust the volume and a slider is provided for moving around quickly within the tracks to find specific passages.
-
Drag & Drop: You can now move tracks around in the playlist directly by Drag & Drop, using the mouse.
-
Shuffle: The new Shuffle function rearranges the order of the tracks in the playlist in random order, in the same way as the Shuffle Play function on some CD players.
-
Convert MP3 to Wave: You can now convert MP3 files directly to wave format and save them.
Extracting Audio CD Tracks (Ripping)
-
CD Player: A position slider is now provided in the player in the Read CD window, allowing you to quickly locate specific passages in tracks on the CD. There's also a nifty new volume control dial.
-
CDDB 2 Track Information: You no longer need to enter track information from your audio CDs manually. With this function you can access our CDDB 2 server via the Internet (it's free!) and automatically insert the track and title information in your playlists.
-
CD Ripper: The new version of the program features an improved integrated audio CD ripper that also displays additional information, including the current and maximum ripping speeds achieved.
Bugfixes
-
Add Tracks bug: The size of the Add Tracks buffer has now been increased to prevent the problems sometimes encountered when adding large numbers of tracks at the same time.
-
Defective ID3 tag bug: Some ID3 editors output defective ID3 tags. AudioCD MP3 Studio 2000 now identifies and ignores this error. (ID3 tags are the data records in MP3 audio files containing the information about titles, track names etc.)
